The Estes Park Riverwalk

On our first full day in Estes Park, some of us were able to get a reservation and permit to enter Rocky Mountain National Park. Those who were able to go were unanimous in their praise of the beauty they experienced there. Those who weren't able to get a permit for today spent their time wandering around the charming town of Estes Park, or retracing our trip through the Big Thompson Canyon where we came upon a flock of big horn sheep along the road.

We had some unusually cute guests during happy hour as some of the many local ground squirrels came for the peanuts!
