| After having some lunch, resting up from our morning hike, and having our usual happy hour, we climbed into the hay wagon (which had no hay) for the hour long trip around the Campstool Ranch where the Driskill family has been raising beef cattle for 8 generations since 1882. We enjoyed seeing lots of deer and beautiful views of Devil's Tower as the tractor pulled our wagon along. |

Following our hayride, some of us took advantage of an awesome event: we watched the movie, "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" in the very shadow of the Tower. This was so special because much of the 1977 movie by Stephen Spielberg was filmed here and we knew where most of the main action was taking place. It was quite an experience.
way cool!
