What a beautiful drive we had today! After we passed Loveland and came through the Big Thompson Canyon it was just one beautiful vista after another. Estes Park is a charming little town full of tourists and tourist shopping. Elk Meadows Campground is in a lovely setting and best of all a herd of elk came down from the mountains, frolicked in the pond, then reclined and grazed in the grass.
