On Sunday morning we traveled about 150 miles to the town founded by Buffalo Bill Cody himself and checked into the very nice Ponderosa Campground located conveniently downtown. The campground owner and her daughters met with us in the Grizzly Room during happy hour to give us an overview of the many exciting things that Cody has to offer. Afterwards several of our group ventured downtown to dine at the Hotel Irma and shop/sightsee downtown. We even met some of the deer that roam at will around town.

Monday was free during the day until 5 pm when we reported to the Cody Cattle Company for dinner and a show. What a wonderful time we had there! Good food (all we could eat), good company, and a wonderful cowboy music show---a real fun evening for everyone.

Chet and Mary bought ice cream tokens for all of us, and our own Steve Colt joined the M.C. on stage to ring the dinner bell while we all yelled, "Hey Steve, ring that bell!"

Ice cream tokens for all!

After dinner came the music show by the Triple C Cowboys, and wow, what a show it was! We were all toe-tapping, singing along, and even dancing to the wonderful music coming from the stage.
