At last the big day has arrived and the Grand Frontier Caravan is ready to rock and roll. Our first meeting took place in the events area at Garden of the Gods RV Park in Colorado Springs, CO. Many of us arrived a few days early and have already got acquainted with each other. We received our jackets and caravan books, and lots of other information. We feasted on KFC and shared happy hour.
Before our meeting some of us were already taking in the sights. Jack Allen fed the peacocks and parakeets at the Cheyenne Zoo, and Tony and Cathy Korvas checked out the Garden of the Gods.
your mom and i toured the 'Garden' on our road trip after Erik's wedding. we were taken by the shapes and colors which we saw at the end of the day.
